Select the Custom Restore option underneath the list of backup files.From the list of backup files, select the desired backup file.From the Back Up & Restore screen, click the Restore Device button.Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer with BlackBerry Link installed.To Selectively Restore only the Applications or Media portion of the Back Up file, please complete the following steps: Task 2 - Selectively Restoring Application or Media: After considering how much memory is being used by applications or games, and media, a decision can be made to either move data or delete applications by following any of the actions below. Consider the media contained in the backup file as well as the Applications contained in the backup file and determine which of the two contains the largest content that can be removed. Large applications can be deleted and installed at a later time. Files and media content within the Media portion of the backup file can be moved to an SD card. In order to restore the backup file to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone, some information contained within the backup file will need to be removed in order to reduce its size.
